He completed his primary education at Erzincan \u0130n\u00f6n\u00fc Primary School, and his secondary and high school education at Erzurum Anatolian High School. Between 1992 and 1998, he completed his medical education at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine, and then completed his residency at Istanbul Dr. Siyami Ersek Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery Training and Research Hospital between 1998 and 2003. Following his specialist training, he worked as a thoracic surgery specialist at the same clinic for one year.<\/p>\n<p>After completing his military service at G\u00fclhane Military Medical Academy in 2004\u20132005, he began his academic career in 2005 as a lecturer in the Department of Thoracic Surgery at Ba\u015fkent University Faculty of Medicine. He received the title of associate professor in 2014 and professor in 2022.<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\n<style>\n#col-426804885 > .col-inner {\n  margin: 0px 0px -30px 0px;\n}\n@media (min-width:550px) {\n  #col-426804885 > .col-inner {\n    margin: 0px 0px -30px 0px;\n  }\n}\n<\/style>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\t\n\n\t<div id=\"col-882239376\" class=\"col small-12 large-12\"  >\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"col-inner\"  >\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\n<p>Throughout his academic career, he has made active contributions to both education and patient care processes; he held the positions of Head of the Thoracic Surgery Unit (2006\u20132024) and Assistant Chief Physician (2016\u20132024) at Ba\u015fkent University Adana Practice and Research Center.<\/p>\n<p><strong>As of 2024, he continues his professional career within Ac\u0131badem Hospital.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Scientific Studies and Academic Contributions<\/h2>\n<p>Prof. Dr. F\u0131nd\u0131kc\u0131o\u011flu has taken part in numerous scientific projects in the field of thoracic surgery, and has served as both principal investigator and researcher especially in studies focusing on malignant pleural effusions, analgesia techniques, video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS), patient comfort after thoracotomy, and cost-effectiveness analyses.<\/p>\n<p>His studies on the clinical significance of immunological markers in non-small cell lung carcinomas have also found a place in the literature. He is especially experienced in video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery, minimally invasive interventions, postoperative pain control, and methods that increase patient comfort.
